Sushant Singh Rajput has studied MS Dhoni very closely while shooting for Dhoni's biopic. Both the men were surprised when they realised they had this attribute in common.

Sushant Singh Rajput doesn’t sleep well. In fact, he has the making of an insomniac for he accepts that two hours is about all the shut-eye he gets. But when the man is so busy dreaming and achieving with his eyes open, sleep would probably be an impediment.The three-film-old man is ready for his next release and he is already playing Mahendra SinghDhoni in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. Your third film is too soon to play a nationally-revered icon but then, at 35, it is too early to have a biopic made on you. Sushant and Dhoni are alike that way — they don’t believe in waiting for the right time, they make it happen.Sushant is animated when he speaks about the man whose life he has literally been living ever since the project started. “I never think about what people will think when they watch me on screen. But after all the 52 characters I have played till now, this was the first time that people had a reference. It could not have my interpretation of MS Dhoni because people know him too well — his cricketing style, his mannerisms, his body language and his diction. The issue was how to play MS Dhoni without making it look like an imitation,” Sushant said in an exclusive interview So Sushant watched all videos, heard all audio clips and read everything he could find on Dhoni — over and over and over again. “Only to find out that most of it was wrong when I spoke with Dhoni,” Sushant says.So, how did he understand what Mahi is all about? He played his own version of a quiz contest with MS Dhoni. “I asked him so many questions — how he thinks about himself, how he looks back, his dreams, his aspirations, what he thinks, what he considers right, rules he lives by… It was a little awkward for him to sit down and talk about it, not that he tried to hide anything.” Not satisfied by even this, Sushant actually came up with his own version of what if. “I asked him 250 questions to which the cricketer was supposed to give instant answers. These were situational questions and he was not allowed to think. He was very patient,” Sushant says.And when everything was done, there was cricket. The self-confessed ‘not a great cricketer’ reveals how he prepared for the film. “I cannot think that I am a good cricketer and just become one. For this, one needs skill. Kiran More trained me. After four-five months of learning the basics of wicket-keeping and batting basics, an analyst came in and we were focussing on getting MSD’s style right. Every shot was broken into frames, Kiran More will fix the bowling machine and I would play every shot 200-300 times a day, for three to four days.” Now, you know what went into making of that impeccable helicopter shot.

But after the training was done, Sushant was Dhoni and that’s when the shoot began. “On the first day of the shoot, there was less pretending as I had changed. In my head, when I was shooting for it, I was Dhoni,” Sushant says.What changed? Sushant realised that they both had one thing in common — the ability to live in now. “Both Dhoni and me, we are so interested in what we are doing right now that we don’t sit and think about future. This thing commands your attention because you love it so much. Your experience is not distorted by your fear or desire to attain something.”And for those who want to know if MS Dhoni: The Untold Story will have controversies, no it won’t. Who are those cricketers that the trailer mentioned? Sushant’s answer is that it is not important. “Events are not important, what is Dhoni’s take on them is what we are trying to show. There is nothing in his life that is not on Google. We are portraying what happened behind the scenes, how did he deal with it… this defines him and it is compelling. He took a stand on a particular decision because he thinks like this.This ability to live in now has also helped Sushant brave a tough couple of months as his break-up with Ankita Lokhande was featured in media with a disturbing regularity. “I made it a point not to know anything. It was not my reality… but stories were being made up and it reached a point where people would come and tell me about it. A story would be made up and then another false story countered it. I would then put the record straight and once I had tweeted, it will not stay with me.”

Port Blair, Aug 24/--/ Suicide is not chosen; it happens, when pain exceeds resources for coping with pain.

And in a bid to offer a solution to the stuck mind out of his thoughtful creativity K. Raja Kumarr alias ‘KRK’ as he is popularly known across the Isles’ social media circles, an up and coming video artiste from the Islands here, has produced a short film on the burgeoning concern.

Stirred by the alarming stats that reveal the rate at which suicides have been taking place across the country as well as in the A&N Islands, he has come out with his short film which is already going down well with the viewers all over.

And in a short span of time after its release recently, the video based on the need to create awareness about the grave issue is fast gaining popularity across the social media and offline as well.

It was also recently praised by the former Lieutenant Governor of A&N Islands, Lt. Gen. AK Singh (Retd.) who congratulated the budding artiste on his conception of the issue as well as his presentation of the film. “Great and relevant effort. Will ask Secretary, Social Welfare, to incorporate the video in our effort against suicides,” said the former LG in a tweet, lately.

“Records indicate that there is one person who ends his life across the world in every 40 seconds and about 8, 00,000 people lose their precious lives every year. Of these 1, 35,000 (17%) are residents of India, a nation with 17.5% of world’s population. In Andaman & Nicobar Islands there are around 150 suicides taking place every year,” said Krk in a communication to Hawk Eye lately.

With this short film on the burning issue, Krk aims at spreading awareness among people to stay away from such an act, which causes endless miseries to the loved ones.

“Life is a gift and one needs to accept it as a wonderful gift from the Almighty. No matter what you are undergoing, Remember You are NOT Alone. Everyone has a mountain to climb, some higher than others. But the higher you climb, the stronger you'll be. It’s a humble request from K. Raja Kumarr to share this Video and help save precious lives,” says Krk in an appeal made via the communication.

The video has already achieved 12, 000 Views in YouTube in just over 48 hours. The mission is to reach the video across the globe and help people in distress; he adds.

Kabali (Hindi) Stays Stable On Its 1st Tuesday At The Box Office

Superstar Rajinikanth starrer Kabali (Hindi) has witnessed a minimal drop of 15% on its 1st Tuesday at the box office. The film collected 1.85 crores approx on its 5th day and now stands with a total collection of 17.35 crores.

Despite being a dubbed film, Kabali is performing better than Madaari in Hindi markets which released on the same date.

The film might end its opening week around 20-21 crores at the box office.

A Brutally Honest Review Of The Movie Kabali

 When you walk into the theater for a Rajinikanth movie, and the lights dim out, every soul in the theater cries out in joy, even though it is an ad that starts playing.Everyone is smiling in the theater. Their smiles are not just of joy, but of worship and veneration. Their smiles are the kind you get when your favorite star walks in front of you and shakes your hand. But for the Rajinikanth fans, Rajni walking on the screen is enough for them. The same kind of feverish expressions is captured by director Pa Ranjith in the movie too, when the actors worship this awesome man called “Kabali”.And just like that,

Rajinikanth is the story, plot, action, songs, dance and direction in this movie.

Make no mistake. There is a story about something big and important – Tamilians getting exploited as foreign workers in Malaysia, and how they were not given equal wages by the British rulers. There is his gang warfare with a Chinese ganglord that takes the center stage later.But that story is just the backdrop to Kabali’s story. And Kabali is Rajinikanth. And when Kabali is in the movie, how can the movie be about anything else. Even a character named Tamilvesan is shoved aside to accommodate him. It is Rajinikanth all the time. He calls the shots, he fights the best, he shoots the best, he romances the best.

And speaking of romance, he romances Radhika Apte in this movie which was a bit weird. Their romance is as awkward as it comes.

Because of a time leap, Radhika Apte should have gotten older too, but the filmmakers kept her young. There are no wrinkles on her face, arms or anywhere. They did not even bother to gray her hair.She basically looks the same age as her daughter in the movie and in real life too.

The action, for once, is not really over the top

After seeing Telugu, Tamil, and Rohit Shetty movies, the action in Kabali is still toned down. It is unrealistic, but not really over the top all the time.

THE MOVIE ACTUALLY GLORIFIES GANG CULTURE, AS LONG AS IT IS NOT INTO PROSTITUTION AND DRUGS.

The background music is erratic and random rock music and rap songs start playing when Rajinikanth comes onscreen

One moment it is a sad scene, and violins are playing, it suddenly switches to hardcore rock fused with English hip-hop. The rock music is loud and the hip-hop is bad.

For all the style and charisma, Rajinikanth looks frail, and to hide that, they made him wear sunglasses for half the movie

The style is still all there. The charisma too.

But the action looks unconvincing. His walk is weak and the gun flails in his hand when he shoots, but the bullet still hits the bad guy in the head. He grips machetes and swords with a weak grip too, and you can see that he is getting too old for this kind of thing.

If I may be a bit crude, I feel Rajinikanth is just being exploited as a Golden Goose.

He comes on screen, does his signature moves, and the audience goes crazy, and the film makes money. It worked for all these years and it still works now.

There was a scene in which he was asked to dance, and he threw a step which looked forced, as if the director wants him to dance so that the audience would celebrate.

Sometimes I think we forget that Rajinikanth is more than just cigarette and goggle-flicking, uber attitude swag-man.

Sometimes we forget that he can act too. And Kabali makes us forget just that. Again.

Avalae Varuvalaa to be Telecast by Raj Music 

A Tamil Music Video Album named ‘Avalae Varuvalaa’ was released by local youth from the islands, Shri K. Raja Kumarr. The album was launched at Chennai on 6^th April 2016. ‘Avalae Varuvalaa’ is the second Music Album by Raja Kumarr, who had earlier done a Hindi music album, named ‘Ek Khwab Mein’, as the Director, Singer, Lyricist, composer and director of the albums.

The music in the album ‘Avalae Varuvalaa’ has been Scored by the M. Karthik which stars Sam Singh, a Mumbai based model, Ameeta, a Chennai based model, Prasad as the Dancer. The others in the team include Maya, Kaamil, Prasanth, Kumarsen, Prabu, Cirin and is produced by K. Sashi Kumar and Late Deepesh Jain.

 K. Raja Kumarr, a youth from the islands presently based at Chennai has released his first video album ‘Ek Khwab Mein’ on 6^th July 2013. Kumarr, 23 has not only directed the video album but is also the singer, lyrics & composer too in this album.

The 23 year old upcoming Director – Singer known as KRK in order to pursue his passion, had given up Engineering in the second year and joined Viscom, making short movies/ albums and advertisements. He was also the official of 110^th Chennai International Film Festival.

Andaman & Nicobar Islands City Youth Released Tamil Music Video Album AVALAE VARUVALAA In Chennai

From The Soil of Andaman & Nicobar Islands .The 25 Year Young Creative Director,

Ad Film Maker , DOP ,Lyricist , Singer ,Song composer And Editor  known as K.Raja Kumarr .In order to pursue his passion, had given up Engineering in the second year

And finish his  Visual Communication  Graduate. He was also the official of 10th Chennai International Film Festival. He has already done an Hindi Music Video  Album: Ek Khwab Mein as Director, Singer, Lyricist and song composer and He Has Worked  Almost 25 to 30 Ad  films and Tv commercials. AVALAE  VARUVALAA  his second Music Video Album in Tamil which is Launched  4 days before on  April 6th 2016 in chennai  . He is  the composer of  this Song ,Lyrics , Singer ,Director of Photography and Directed by K.Raja Kumarr. Music has been Scored by the M.Karthik .Staring :Sam Singh (Mumbai Model ) ,Ameeta (Chennai Model), Prasad(Dancer)  and Team member Maya ,Kaamil,Prasanth,Kumarsen ,Prabu and Cirin .Produced by K.Sashi Kumar and Late Deepesh Jain .K.Raja Kumarr struggle a lot in his life ,As from college first year he was started working , There were many days he could not sleep as he  have to complete both Advertising work and college projects .But he did not gave up as his confidence was high and family members were very supportive .This Album was delayed year due to his producer Deepesh passed away in car accident last year .But he Did not give up He make himself busy with AD film & graphics works in Andaman and also Mumbai . Then 4  months later K.Raja Kumarr plan it to make this album complete .Now this Album goes  Viral in Youtube just in 5Days  it Hits 10,400+ views .He say I am going to shoot my next album in Andaman I already composed the song ,have to write lyrics for it .And I sure this time I am going to pick and make out the Artist from Andaman Islands .And I am planning to show my video on Andaman Theater ,Local channel and the song copy will be available in baazar  shops near to petrol pump all cd shops  as soon as I reach Andaman.I want to thank each and every person who supported Independent Music  .K.Raja Kumarr is an ex-student of Model Sr. Sec. School and Kamraj School in (Andaman)Port Blair. He was a state level volleyball player during his school days and later went to Chennai for further education. In chennai he did his schooling in MCC School Chepet and given up Engineering in the second year in VELS University Then he joined Viscom in The New Collage.He Started working from  the first year Of  his college life in the  Advertisement  Company in chennai and Mumbai .  He has Scored in University 99 marks out of 100 in Director of Photography . He  believe in success through hard work & dedication. His  motto in life is to ‘If you want something, work hard & you will achieve it; there are no shot cuts’Love what ever the Job you Do believe in yourself .One day I will Make our Islands proud .
